In a time of increasing accountability, academic libraries must demonstrate their effectiveness with hard data. How do libraries demonstrate their impact on departmental or institutional goals, particularly those that pertain to student success or retention? After identifying impactful goals, what benchmarks are used to illustrate effectiveness? How are libraries collecting meaningful data? How do libraries convey the resulting data and its implications to stakeholders? This program will explore these questions.
