Title: A New Generation of Textbook Affordability Practices
Description: This session analyzes an innovative Textbook Affordability Project that began with a team of experts who assessed faculty textbook choices, investigated alternatives that would mitigate costs to students, and made recommendations to faculty which resulted in $3.9 million of reduced costs to USF-system students in one semester.

Title: Expanding Distance Education Possibilities with Library and Center for eLearning Collaborations
Description: A multi-year process of collaboration between FAU’s library and Center for eLearning includes librarian participation in weekly Professional Development sessions and pedagogical training provided to librarians alongside other faculty. Description: Can a collaboration between the Library and the Instructional Design Department create value for the university and student population by incorporating OER into the course development process? This presentation is a case study of one University with a large online and distributed network that tightly controls the course design process and timeline and curriculum delivered by the faculty.

Description: This session will explore how LER (library/licensed educational materials) enhance OER (open educational resources) initiatives in higher education. Description: Librarians at the University of North Florida realized the library needed to have a presence in Canvas. This would enable students to easily transition between their coursework, and finding resources and services to support their studies. Title: Bridging Distance Learning Inequities with LibGuide LTI
