Denisse Solis is an online MLIS graduate student at Kent State University concentrating on academic librarianship and special collections. She is an ARL Diversity Scholar, and 2016-2017 ALA Spectrum Scholar. Solis graduated from Florida International University with bachelor’s degrees in history, art history, and a certificate in European studies. She currently works at FIU as a copy cataloger and has interests in rare book librarianship, information literacy, and social justice. In her free time she enjoys exercising, reading, traveling, and taking naps with her two cats.
Kaleena Rivera is a Senior Library Technical Assistant at Florida Gulf Coast University's Archives, Special Collections, & Digital Initiatives. She is currently earning her Masters in Information Science at Florida State University's School of Information and hopes to become a digital librarian. She would like to thank the FACRL Board for this honor and her supervisors for their gracious support.
Carolyn Moritz is an MSI student at Florida State University's iSchool with a concentration on Web Development & Administration. She is a member of the IDEA Learning Community and the ALA Student Chapter at FSU, and is interested in digital institutional repositories and the Open Source Initiative. Her interest in academic libraries began while working in Information Technology Services at Eckerd College and she hopes to remain involved in academic libraries and ACRL endeavors throughout her career.
